Tell Us Your Story
Jeff Hayzlett is the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President, Chairman’s Office for the Eastman Kodak Company. In this role Jeff has responsibility for Corporate and Product Public Relations, Communications and Public Affairs, Brand Management, Corporate Sponsorships, Market Development, Corporate Relationships, Business Development, and Partnerships. Jeff is cited as a leading marketing expert in numerous books, magazines, and newspapers worldwide. He’s also a frequent guest and commentator on television shows such as CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, Fox Business News and NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice with Donald Trump. I know Jeff from our membership in The National Speakers Association. The reason I asked him to share his brilliance with us on Personal Brilliance - Up Close and Practical is the fact that he is playing a critical role in the resurgence of the Eastman Kodak company, one of America’s greatest brands, primarily based on innovation, which is what Personal Brilliance is all about. I think everyone will be surprised by some of Kodak’s technologies. Just some of the innovations associated with Kodak:
Kodak also boasts that for the last 80 years every single movie that won the Best Picture Oscar were shot on Kodak film. Kodak has the second biggest social network with 72 million members and housing over 5 billion photos. Did you know that 5% of all US mail is printed on Kodak paper? Kodak has experienced a massive transformation in the last five years. They have shifted from 70% of their business based on film five years ago to 70% based on digital. Sixty % of Kodak’s revenue comes from business to business vs. 30% only four years ago. Sixty % of Kodak’s sales come from outside the US. And most astounding, sixty % of Kodak’s employees are new in the last four years. Jeff talks about transforming from Kodak moments to Kodak momentum. Jeff Hayzlett is the subject of this month’s podcast. |
